The company is a key infrastructure services provider to regional public transport authorities, serving a constantly rising commuter base across Germany.
Under Cube’s stewardship, Netinera strengthened its market position by winning several high-profile rail contracts, including Dieselnetz Südwest in 2011 in the Central Rhine-Main area, Enno in 2014 in the Lower Saxony area, and Netz Elbe-Spree in 2018 in the Berlin and Brandenburg areas. Upon exit, the company operated 19 long-term rail contracts with a fleet of 350 trains and employed more than 4,000 people across Germany.
Cube divested its stake in Netinera in 2020.
