Aurélien is Managing Director in the Transport & Environment team, he joined Cube in 2010.
He is responsible for investment activities across public transport, cold logistics, and environmental services, and serves on the boards of dst telecom, Bergkvara, Muller Transport, Dispam, and Verdis. Aurélien had a key role in the origination, acquisition, and development of numerous digital infrastructure platforms, including fiber operators and data centers. He also contributed to Cube’s investments in the energy transition, including district heating, wind, hydro, solar, and energy-from-waste assets.
He is a member of the Asset Management Committee and chairs the ESG Committee. Aurélien has been leading the firm’s ESG strategy and overseeing developments across portfolio companies.
Aurélien began his career in finance in 2008, in London and Paris. Outside of his role at Cube, he is an adjunct professor at HEC Paris and leads a rural microfinance initiative in Togo, active since 2009.
Aurélien, CAIA, graduated with highest honors from the Ecole des Mines (MSc in Civil Engineering) with additional training at EM Lyon and was valedictorian of HEC Paris MSc in International Finance.
As a French citizen, he is fluent in English, French and Portuguese and has a basic command of German, Spanish and Chinese.
