Ayaz is an Investment Manager within Cube’s Energy Transition team.

Since joining Cube in 2018, he has mainly focused on infrastructure investments in the energy sector and was notably involved in the build-up and asset management of energy portfolio of Cube II and Cube III. He currently serves as a Board Member at Varanger Kraftvind, and a permanent observer on the Board of Directors of Norsk Vannkraft and ENETIQA.

Prior to joining Cube, Ayaz has worked at Athys Capital Advisors in Luxembourg, providing private equity advisory services to a large Luxembourg-based multi-family office in primary investments and co-investment transactions. Before his tenure at Athys, Ayaz also gained professional experience at Mantra Investment Partners in Paris where he worked on transactions in private equity secondaries. Ayaz initially began his career in the telecom industry while working at Bakcell in Baku.

Ayaz holds a Master’s degree in Management from HEC Paris, with major in Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

He speaks five languages, notably English, French, Luxembourgish, Turkish and Azerbaijani.
