Rahul joined Cube in 2009. He has covered various infrastructure sub-sectors targeted by Cube having been a board member of various companies involved in district heating and energy efficiency services, waste management, energy from waste, solar photovoltaic and mini-hydro power generation, cogeneration, EV charging infrastructure and public bus and rail transport services.

In his early years at Cube, Rahul was notably involved in Cube I’s acquisition of mini-hydro power plants in Spain and Portugal and public bus and rail transport operators in Belgium and Germany. He managed Cube I’s energy-from-waste assets in the UK and solar PV plants in Spain for nearly a decade and led the eventual divestment of Cube I’s power generation portfolio. He established Cube II’s EV charging platform with its first investment in the UK-based owner and operator of public fast charging stations and led Cube III’s investment in the UK-based integrated wase management and energy recovery business. Rahul established Cube III’s renewable energy platform targeting investments in solar PV and BESS across Germany and Italy.

Rahul did his undergraduate program, Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and holds a Master in Management degree (Grande Ecole program) from ESCP Business School in Paris.
