Rahul is a Managing Director in the Energy Transition investment team.

Since joining Cube in 2009, Rahul has rotated across the various infrastructure sub-sectors targeted by Cube. He was notably involved in Cube I’s acquisition of mini-hydro power plants in Spain and Portugal (RPIPE) and public bus and rail transport operators in Belgium (Hansea) and Germany (Netinera). He established Cube II’s EV charging platform with its first investment for a majority stake in the UK-based owner and operator of electric vehicle public rapid charging stations (Osprey) and led Cube III’s investment in the UK-based integrated wase management and energy recovery business (RiverRidge). Rahul has been a board director of various investee companies in Cube’s portfolio covering waste management and energy from waste, photovoltaic and mini-hydro power generation, cogeneration, EV charging and public bus and rail transport. He led the divestment of the power generation portfolio of Cube I.

Rahul began his career at Asset Allocation Advisors – ABN AMRO’s fund of fund management division in Paris in 2009.

Rahul holds a Master in Management degree with majors in Finance from ESCP Business School in Paris and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

A Luxembourgish citizen, he is fluent in Hindi, English and French and has a basic command of Luxembourgish, German and Spanish.
